What does Invisalign treatment involve?

Once your first set of aligners arrive from the lab, you come in to have them checked for fit. You learn how to place and remove your aligner trays.

You wear your trays around the clock, removing them only during meals or while performing oral hygiene routines. This ensures that steady pressure remains on your teeth to gently shift them into optimal alignment.

Every week, you switch to a new set of aligner trays. Periodic visits at Impressive Orthodontics ensures your treatment plan is moving forward. 

A degree of soreness is normal for a day or two after switching to a new set of aligners. A similar sensation occurs after a treatment wire is replaced with traditional braces. This is a good indication that your treatment is progressing normally and will subside within a day or two.
